Aesthetic Dentistry MENA Awards 2010


Dubai-- The annual Aesthetic Dentistry MENA Awards are unique. This is the only awards for the Middle East and North Africa region that recognize the excellent achievements of dental practitioners across the region. The competition is jointly hosted by the two organizations that created the concept and actively promote it: EMA Dental Association and CAPP (Centre for Advanced Professional Practices).
A remarkable increase in participation was seen. 142 cases from 14 countries were submitted for the competition in 7 professional categories. “Last year’s Awards were such a prestigious event which honors the hard work of dentist in the MENA region and I am happy to see that this year’s Awards have become even more important and Doctors from all over the Middle East have started to hand in their cases” said Dr. Aisha Sultan, Head of Dental Services in Dubai and Northern Emirates Ministry of Health.
Jury panel, consisting from 10 academicians from different countries evaluated the cases independently and anonymously. The awards finalists in this very challenging competition for each category were selected from a group of 63 shortlisted winners from 8 countries.
21 finalists from UAE, Iran, Lebanon, KSA, Kuwait, Pakistan and India were announced.
This year special recognition for the achievement in Pediatric Dentistry as subdivision of Conservative dentistry will be given to Dr. Dina Debaibo, Dubai UAE.
